Through SAML federation, you can authenticate your users with an external identity provider. SAML is usually used to achieve Single-Sign-On for your users. You can use your existing user repository and provision access to Dynatrace through the federation. The users are provisioned just-in-time(JIT) and are associated with the respective Dynatrace groups via claim mappings.
