removal of active gate

Hi Team, Need your help again 🙂

Question 1.

I have 2 servers where firewall ports are opened (9999) i have installed OneAgent on both server with setting up the network zone and set server active command.

Now issue is that if i am installing OneAgent with set server AG command then i am not getting data on Dynatrace.

If set server is not used, I am getting the data on Dynatrace as network zone have their own active gate.

Question  2.

I have installed one agent on 100+ servers with set server AG command and selected network zone setup,

But i want to remove the active gate as data is not coming on Dynatrace, only keep Network zone which have AG setup already.

I tried removing using below commands but getting error, how I can fix this?

oneagentctl.exe --set-server=""

oneagentctl.exe --set-server=Default

Hi @Adi_10

Hoping my message finds you well.

Regarding the removal of the OneAgents configurations, PFA references for step by step guidance:

According to the Server OS you will proceed with either of the attached docs.

Practically, you should:

  1. Stop the OA Service on the target hosts.
  2. Run the commands.
  3. Restart the OA service again.

https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/stop-restart-oneagent-windows

https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/stop-restart-oneagent-linux

Also, through the UI directly you can proceed with the required changes through remote configuration management:

BR,

Peter.
