As for the number of alerts for MZ, you can display this in the GUI or pull it out through the API. Each issue has a Duration Time associated with it, which determines how long it has been open.
As for the total time of problems in a given MZ, I have not encountered this. I suspect you will have to write a short script that will add up these times in terms of time.
