Engage and elevate
On January 13, we’ll hold our regular Dynatrace Office Hours for App development.
If you want to interact with us during the session, you’ll need to sign up beforehand with your LinkedIn profile. If you don’t have a LinkedIn profile, simply join us on our Dynatrace YouTube channel at the given date and time.
As always, we’re happy to host you and look forward to answering any questions you have when developing Dynatrace apps. We'll also give you the latest updates and releases.
Useful updates
Strato DataTableV2 is DataTable again
The Strato table component has completed its transition from DataTableV2 to simply DataTable with version 2.8.0.
All docs now reflect the streamlined naming and updated imports (convertToColumns, DataTableColumnDef).
If you previously used the V2 types, just drop the “V2” suffixes. No behavioral changes are required.
Learn more about DataTable here.
strato-components-preview 3.0.0 is coming in Q1 2026
As announced on the Upcoming changes page for our Strato Design System, strato-components-preview 3.0.0 is expected to go live in Q1 next year!
Since this is a MAJOR version release, not all changes will be backward compatible. With the page linked above, you can start preparing for this update already now.
You can find the release notes for already released versions here: Components preview - Release notes
Admin access in the Documents SDK
Since version 1.26.0 of the Documents SDK, all document endpoints can be accessed as an admin. This can be useful if your app manages documents on behalf of other users.
You can find everything about the Documents API and the client-document SDK here: https://developer.dynatrace.com/plan/platform-services/document-service/
