Starting with OneAgent version 351, Dynatrace is deprecating monitoring support for Azure Functions .NET In-Process Model.
Why this change is happening
Microsoft is retiring the Azure Functions .NET In-Process Model on November 10, 2026.
What’s next
The .NET Isolated Worker Model is Microsoft’s recommended approach moving forward. This model runs function code in a separate .NET worker process, supports additional .NET versions, and enables capabilities not available with the in-process model. Dynatrace fully supports monitoring for Azure Functions using the .NET Isolated Worker Model.
What you need to do
Migrate your Azure Functions to the .NET Isolated Worker Model before the November 2026 retirement date, following Microsoft's migration guide. For assistance with the migration, contact Microsoft Support. For questions related to Dynatrace monitoring, contact Dynatrace Support.
