At the moment it seems there is no possibility to:
Dynatrace will (should) raise a problem if JavaScript error rate increases for an application. Unfortunately, we don't have any options to alert on particular errors or tune the alerting for different errors. Just the option to ignore specific errors (which may be randomized or out of your control).
Are any improvements planned in this area?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Dynatrace offers RUM application error rate baseline and alerting. What we do not offer as of today is to include/exclude specific JavaScript errors.
Thanks, any plans / roadmaps on this topic you can share?
For web applications where a lot of logic happens in the browser, this is quite important.
For OpenKit applications, Dynatrace seems to be even more limited as the errors can be seen only in user sessions - and I'm not sure if the baselining/alerting will work for errors from OpenKit applications at all.
Any news on this topic? Is the possibility to get alerts per javascript error message on the roadmap?
I would really like this feature too, specifically to be able to show the top javascript errors on my dashboard and then ideally be able to drill into the detail in the web application.
