At two of our clients, users use a DMS system. Users are encountering a script error when attempting to edit documents within the DMS system. One application called SIRIS uses a plugin in your internet browser. The other, called Alfresco, doesn't have a plugin.  The error occurs immediately after authenticating through the central authentication system (auth.dictu.nl).

Message: "An error has occurred in the script on this page".

Error: "Invalid character".

Root Cause: Conflict between the ruxitagentjs (Dynatrace RUM) script and the browser engine.

users are using Microsoft Edge

When users click “yes” they will no longer see the message for the entire day.

We already tried a .HAR file but it doesn't show any information that leads to the rootcause.

Thanks for your reply. I've read up on what this setting does, but our users all use Microsoft Edge. What's the relationship between this setting and Microsoft Edge, or have I misunderstood something?
