We're monitoring web application performance for a mobile app that loads in a web view (webkit). I've noticed some strange results from dyantrace - it appears that for loading the initial pages in the site (or when we're coming back to the site from a redirect) we get long periods of time when there is no activity. This is before Navigation Start and Request start -- there appears to be long periods where nothing is even requested from the server.
My question - how is dynatrace measuring this time if there are 6 seconds before the web view sends the request to the server? Also just wondering if anyone has seen similar performance from Android or iOS browsers (embedded within an app).
