Duplication of the user session one time with the user tag and second time as anonymous

Hi All,

We have dynatrace-managed and have user session monitoring. For all the users logging in, we are tagging the username and then using the persistent cookie to track the user sessions for the later visits.

We have seen that dynatrace is reporting duplicate sessions. One time the 3-4 user sessions are tagged under the user tag and then there is anonymous user session where the same sessions are being tracked and even though it has the user tagged couple of times it still gives the session as anonymous. Would appreciate if someone can help us understand why it might be duplicating?

This looks as the session was terminated because of more than 30 minutes of user inactivity time. This is why you have several sessions. And the actions the user has performed (and appropriate sessions are anonymous) do not include the data for user tag identification
