Issue with Dynatrace Android Gradle Plugin - 8.255.1.1005

Hi Team,

We have updated the Dynatrace plug in version from 8.231.2.1007 to 8.255.1.1005.

when we are trying to the run the individual tasks we have, its giving the below error.

The Dynatrace Android Gradle Plugin can only be applied to Android application projects

if we try to run the same task with older version its working fine.

Its currently blocking our work, Can someone support on this issue please.

This error message is generated by the Dynatrace Android Gradle plugin, when it can't complete all configuration steps and therefore assumes that it is applied in an unsupported project structure. This additional verification was introduced with version 8.237.1.1004.
The upcoming plugin version 8.257 contains adjustments to support additional Gradle features, including the removal of the mentioned verification. It will be published in January 2023.
