Mobile app - new user metric

Hi,

We are utilizing the metric builtin:apps.other.newUsers.os and we wonder how dynatrace categorize new user for mobile app?

This is similar to Web Apps where cookie is determining particular user (if there is no user tag recognision). Mobile app has assigned user ID as well. New user = new user id. When user reinstall app and delete all data I suppose that will get new ID.
