Newbie - How to group users

How can I tag a group of users within an application so that I can establish trends and user experiences just for that group of 6-12 users?

I think it is not possible directly by tagging. But if you have defined user tag for your application and you know values for this group of users you can create USQL tiles which will be filtered by WHERE condition with provided values. In such case you can create dashboard with group of charts that will be related only to this group of users.
