Bundling release notes for the Android (and iOS) OneAgent SDK with the rest of OneAgent is causing a lot of headache.
The OneAgent Mobile SDKs are updated more frequently than the overarching OneAgent suite of products, which means release notes aren't available immediately. This is problematic when using dependency management tools like Renovate or Dependabot, which will open pull requests as soon as the artifacts are available. We can't accept new versions with confidence until we're aware of what's changed - particularly important with version 8.319.2 of the Android SDK, which fixes a prolific crash we've been experiencing.
This is causing a real problem for us, and I'm sure other consumers are also feeling similar ways. When releasing software for others to use, it is an absolute necessity that this software comes with release notes. This is especially important in this case, as this software is closed source, so the diff can't be analysed when there's an urgent need to upgrade. Please consider decoupling your release notes for individual artifacts from the overarching product release schedule.

Hey Jamie,
Thank you for your feedback. Here is a short update:
We are aware of this inconsistency in the OneAgent for Mobile release process. We forwarded your feedback to the responsible teams. At this point I don't have any detailed information.
We will update this post, when we have more information about how this inconsistency will be addressed and when you can expect some changes.
