These are for the practical questions... so if you do have practice in those areas, you will handle then.
Know the purpose of Data Explorer and its features.
Know the purpose of Notebooks/Dashboards and how to use DQL to query data.
Know the available settings for RUM and their purpose.
Know what are Distributed Traces, use filters and navigate to its findings.
Know the purpose of Synthetics, their settings and executions.

Hi Muhammad,
I have recently passed by Associate exam - literally 10 days ago. The official materials basically cover all the theoretical questions. I don't really remember the questions themselves but the topics were covered here:
https://university.dynatrace.com/learn/learning-plans/31/dynatrace-essentials-learning-plan
and also in the knowledge areas mentioned in this thread:
https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/Start-with-Dynatrace/Dynatrace-Associate-certification-mock-exam/...
In the practical part I saw there are several questions where need to build DQL queries, also some from Synthetics, dashboards and notebooks. Please note that they mostly ask you to use the new apps instead of the classic ones. During the praktical part you are allowed to use the official Dynatrace documentation.
I would advise you to keep an eye on the time - I did the 60 theoretical questions for 45 minutes and the remaining 2h15m were barely sufficient for me for the 16 practical ones (I lost a lot of time on the first one), so for me it makes sense to skip questions that you see would require a lot of time, mark them and then get back to them.
I have also proposed an idea to recreate the mock exam that was removed when the format was changed:

Wish you best of luck on your exam!
