Hi I'm currently new to the Kubernetes, and I've read the Dynatrace works well in Kubernetes environment, i'm currently trying to deploy easytravel on my Kubernetes but i'm currently stuck. I've read this github and i'm still confused, can anybody help me on how to deploy easy travel on kubernetes from start to running.
Much apreciated. Thanks

Hi, when it comes to kubernetes deployments I'd recommend going with Easytrade instead. It's better suited for such use case as it has been designed with docker and kubernetes deployments in mind from the start. Easytravel is much older application and while it has been adapted for both docker and kubernetes you're going to have easier time with Easytrade. If you'd rather stick with Easytravel you can find both deployments on this repo, which is maintained by our team (we're responsible for both Easytrade and Easytravel apps). I hope this helps.

HI @KrzysztofSajko , thanks for your time to help us! Appreciated.
I am following your advice and have installed EasyTrade in a k8s cluster because EasyTrade doesn't work in my mac (my guess, because the Apple chip ).
Probably you could think that I don't know how to follow the simple instructions...
I am terrible lost, how do I continue from that?
Furthermore, is it a terrible idea to contribute to the easyTrade project with my findings?
I think it's a really great example app, a lot of work on it!

Hi,
the images are indeed not build for arm architecture so they won't work on Apple devices, that's something that we may add in the future. If you're stuck or have any problems with getting EasyTrade to work, feel free to open an issue on the GitHub page explaining what it is you have a problem with. Contributions are possible, just keep in mind that as per the policy of the Dynatrace org on GitHub outside contributors need to submit a CLA (this is apparently handled via automation but I'm not familiar with the flow)
