Hello :dynatrace_logo: Community,

Starting October 2024 (Associate and Specialist) new Dynatrace exams are available:

The new options are role based. For example (illustrative roles) if you want to become Security Analyst you can take the Associate+App. Security Specialist Exams:

Great post, @DanielS !!

I renewed my Professional Certification earlier this year, but I'm looking forward to check out the new Professional approaches!

Best regards, Pedro Deodato

I find this new scheme very interesting. I would just like Dynatrace certifications to be like Cisco's and last 3 years and if you renew your professional status, your associate certification will also be extended.

@DanielS,

I believe 2 years is reasonable for a Platform that changes so much every 2 weeks. It is also a struggle to maintain knowledge in so many IT domains, and quite frankly, I'm amazed that, especially, the Professional doesn't incorporate much more of the new Platform, as @dannemca has also confirmed.

I'm also quite expectant regarding the new Master certification replacement...

Yes, I didn't see anything about Master in the roadmap.

Just took my Pro renew today. I liked the new set of certifications, and don't think they changed that much.. probably they will just split the Pro as is today and left the practice exam to be the implementer one, I guess.

I saw some grail, new apps questions (very low) in today's exam. I think the big change will be in this direction, covering the platform updates.

Great catch, @DanielS !!
