NAM is available for all Dynatrace users, regardless of the deployment type: SaaS or Managed.
A powerful API that allows users to create all supported types of NAM monitors and the full set of metrics produced by NAM is available for Dynatrace Managed and Dynatrace SaaS users.
The main limitation Dynatrace Managed users need to be aware of is the lack of a new Synthetic application that serves as a UI for managing NAM tests and viewing their results. To solve that problem, for users of Dynatrace Managed (and only for them), we have added simple Unified Analysis powered UI for creating NAM monitors and for analyzing execution results
This UI does not support the on-demand execution of the NAM test. To use that functionality, take advantage of the Synthetic monitors on-demand execution API
