Hello community I am looking for very high level ideas on how to distribute Synthetic NAM tcp test as a self service monitoring capability on Dynatrace SaaS.
- the simpler idea is to fine tune an IAM policy and pre-create empty Synthetic NAM configuration that the team can freely modify ... still don't know if this is a realistic scenario but I can imagine the struggle of team which is not used to Dynatrace.
- another idea would be to have a medium - like a repo, where they add information trough a funnel and once they are done they can (push/put/post) the config and something in background will play with APIs.
(I did this once [not for Synthetic] via Azure Logic App and info filled on a spreadsheet)
So over all I am curious to understand if somebody did it already and how they did it approximately and high level.
Regards
Yann

@y_buccellato ,
I have two customers that manage this through Service Desk (two different ones). These call the API to fulfill requests.

Interesting. My idea initially was to have a common repo with them, and as long as they add item to test via TCP NAM, these new lines would have been picked up. What I don't like about this idea, is that someone need to operate outside of Dynatrace, breaking the experience. The pro is that this could be done with tool that they are more familiar with, which will ensure their participation.
