Hello,

Is it possible to monitor some TELNET call with an HTTP monitor?

Or not at all?

Thank you,

Sabine

Hi Anton,

We have the last Dynatrace version, but I don't have the option for NAM monitor creation.

I wonder if there is any missing right?

Which user group provides it?

Warm Regards,

Sabine

Hi,

These are only available if you have private Synthetic location as well https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/network-availability-monitoring#deployment-type

Do you have a Synthetic ActiveGate?

Best regards

Hi,

We have a Synthetic ActiveGate, yes.

There is an upgrade planned next week, but the version is one of the newest (same for the cluster).

For the private synthetic location ,yes, we have one.

We use too, public synthetic locations, depending the script.

But the location selection is always after the monitor type selection. Is there the issue?

Best Regards

Hi,

Are you opening new Synthetic app? Where do you try to create NAM monitor?

Best regards

I don't use the Synthetic app.

We have Dynatrace Managed.

In it, synthetic monitors are created via the menu "Synthetic"

NAM monitors are available for Managed customers. You need to create them using the API.  You can then see the list of NAM monitors in a new link that will appear at the the Synthetic page. It looks like the page for creating and modifying them will be available around Cluster version 302.

Thank you!
