What permission is necessary to create synthetic monitors in the new Synthetic application?

Currently, the tenant-level permission environment:roles:manage-settings is required to create synthetic monitors in the new Synthetic application. 

Your assigned access control policies are missing the following permissions: 

Missing permissions: environment:roles:manage-settings 

App name: Synthetic 

App ID: dynatrace.synthetic 

 
 
This is a temporary limitation, and the Synthetic team is actively working on addressing it. Over the next two quarters, our goal is to develop a modern, fully integrated access control mechanism that aligns with the Dynatrace platform, specifically for managing Synthetic configurations and data.

Temporary workaround  

If you do not have the mentioned permission, you can use Synthetic Classic as an alternative for creating monitors until the new access control mechanism is implemented.
