Self Service Summary

This article is for you if you have a service that for some known reason you've disabled in the Settings -> Anomaly Detection, one or more from the following, however, you're still getting alerts for those types of events. The service has also key requests with thresholds on them.

  • Response time
  • Failure rate
  • Service load drops
  • Service load spikes

Below is a picture showcasing how it looks:

The point here that can be easily overlooked is the option of "Override settings" for each of the key request. If for example in the service, you have the "Service load drop" disabled, on one of your key request it is enabled, and the "Override settings" is enabled/Yes, then you have two options

  • Check if it's really intended to be alerted on that key request for load drops (could be that it's critical to be alerted for someone from your company)
  • If it's not meant to alert, then change the "Override Settings" on the Key Request to "No"
