Early adopter means that the location was recently added and if we detect issues or instabilities we might need to remove it again. However, this is generally not expected. If we need to remove a location we will decide case by case if we move existing monitors for this location to a near location or if we just announce it and the customer needs to recreate the monitors. There is no general rule for early adapter locations.
It is different if we remove a "GA" location. For GA'ed locations we will provide an automatic shift to a nearby location.
Thanks for this clarification @xu_guo. EA always tends to have a risk since its not fully GA. Maybe we can put this or a version of this as a disclaimer text on the location selector page of synthetics?
