Dynatrace provides you with a framework that you can use to extend your observability into data acquired directly from your SNMP-monitored devices. In addition to out-of-the-box support for F5, Generic Network, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and others, you can also create your own SNMP Extension based on any MIBs and OIDs.
Watch this hands-on tutorial where David Mass @DavidMass, Extension Architect at Dynatrace and Andreas Grabner @andreas_grabner, DevSecOps Activist at Dynatrace give us a recap on SNMP, MIBs, and OIDs and then walks us through a complete end-to-end scenario of building a Dynatrace Extension using SNMP as a Data Source provided by the Extension 2.0 framework.
