Alert Creation / Validation for specific time frame

In Dynatrace current setup we can configure the alerts notifications if some threshold values Violates for some samples but my Question or requirement is.

 

if the Count of the Queue or the CPU usage on the Host is above the threshold value for the given time frame  and the samples (i.e 8:00 AM to 2:00PM) and different threshold value for different time(i.e 2:00PM to Next day 8:00AM) then only the alert must be raised based on the Threshold violation during specific time frame.

 

Example:

  • >8k( Count) / 98( CPU) between 8:00 am ET and 2:00 pm
  • >1k ( Count) / 98( CPU) between 2:00 pm ET and 8:00 am

Hello,

I believe the only way to set different thresholds depending on the time of day would be to leverage the API and scripting - changing the threshold automatically during each time period.
