Hi,
What I am trying to do is send an email notification when a disk reaches a certain percentage (free). I'm not interested in changing the alerting settings as that goes to our incident response team and they have stipulated 97% is when a major incident occurs. I would like to act much faster than that by sending an email notification at 90%. Just wondering if this can be done through 'Settings' or is this more for Workflows.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi @badgerfifteen ,
you can create custom metric event and set thresholds 90%

This seems like what I want. Where would I find this specifically again?

Go to settings -> anomaly detection-> metric events.
create new one and set the required thresholds.
I hope this helps

In Settings->Anomaly Detection->Disks,
you can do that configuration environment wide:
You can also define at the host level: Go to Settings for the Host->Anomaly Detection->Disks
and there you can even set specific thresholds per detected disk.
Finally, you can try out the new Disk Edge feature:

You should first Create Custom Metric on that host/path... (put specific title)
Create Alerting profile and attach the previously created custom metric (put tile as filter)
and the end, create notification by email with this Alerting Profile
