Why is this Problem linked to process instead of Host?

Because the process was impacted and affected and not the host, and maybe impacted the layer of services above

This was raised as part of custom event extractions while extracting or searching for a particular error code on server.

How in custom event extractions we can make it to attach only to host instead of process
