Hello, Community Friends!
July 2026 is the month of change! As we have announced last week, the Community Navigation has been extensively reorganized. However, it's only an introduction, as we're extending the evolution process of well-known Community Tools to our regularly posted content as well.
Do you like Community Challenges, that used to be part of our "Community" subforum? Don't worry, they're not going anywhere and they're just moving to the next level of excitement! Starting from next week, this monthly engagement content series will significantly evolve into the new format dubbed "Open Source Challenges".
What can you expect, as a Dynatrace Community user?
π Open Source Challenges will receive a dedicated subforum easy to find on the forum navigation.
π Starting from July 2026, challenges on the Dynatrace Community will cover open source and technical topics only.
π Every challenge will be built on a story and three levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate, and expert. These missions will be possible to take independently from each other: if you want to, you can take one level of challenge, but the greatest recognition is prepared for those who'll try to face all of three missions mentioned above!
π Just like it was, every new challenge will be posted in the half of each month.
π For each challenge you'll need a free GitHub account.
π There's always an exciting package of recognition for every participant!
π All Open Source Challenges will be prepared and coordinated with our amazing Dynatrace Expert, @ksick!
π All of the legacy Community Challenges from the past 7 years will be archived.
Are you ready?
Stay tuned for the very first Open Source Challenge publication scheduled for Monday, July 13th 2026!
We truly hope this new monthly format will be a perfect place to put your skills to the test, build something exciting, and just have some fun!
See you!
