:dynatrace: Hello, Community Friends!

 

Last summer we asked you for feedback in the new Community Survey 2024. You told us how relevant for you are the main types of our content, helping us to see what are priorities and key drivers to engage in the Dynatrace Community. What's more, some of you took some time to share your thoughts in the open-question section - and now it's time for us to address it! 👀

 

Just like we've done it last year, here's the summary. We're telling you how feasible are some improvement areas and explaining details behind our feedback if needed. Hope we'll cover your expectations with such an overview, enjoy your read, and THANK YOU for taking the survey!

 

Community Area Feedback What can we do? Comment
Product ideas More frequent and proactive updates from the Product Managers on product ideas.  🛠 In process We keep working with the Product Management to keep the Product Idea updates frequent and extensive.
Show related product ideas when a new one is posted. Not feasible It would be hard to implement such an improvement as people usually express their product needs in a non-generic way, which makes it hard to automate.
Community UX & UI
Revamp or restructure the Dynatrace Community. 🗓 Planned We will do the Community's restructure following the revamp, which is planned.
Community Dark Mode.  🛠 In process Dynatrace Community's new-gen platform could address this in the Spring of 2025.
Product Idea Newsletter promotion widgets should be better visible in the Community. 🗓 Planned We're including this suggestion in our current Community development roadmap.
Don’t post the “please provide feedback” pop-up while you are busy typing an answer.
Not feasible Technically it may not be feasible to fix.
Community management The Community answers could be more direct and explanatory for novice users. 🛠 In process This feedback we're applying for our next moderation session.
Community integration Get a direct link in the Dynatrace to a prefiltered community link on the related content. 🗓 Planned We're including this suggestion in our current Community development roadmap.
Community features
Be able to have a custom feed of specific subforums as my landing page. 🗓 Planned We're planning for the Spring of 2025 a Community revamp, that will address this aspect as well.
More frequent and expansive sharing of app/feature roadmaps. 🗓 Planned We're including this suggestion in our current Community development roadmap.
Success stories from various customers in the community. 🗓 Planned We already have this in our plans!
Some advanced customers would appreciate a space where they could share their custom extensions and apps. 🗓 Planned We're including this suggestion for our plans!
