Hello Community!
Today, we'd like to shed some light on another big project the Community team has been running in the background for the last few weeks. Meaning the product ideas clean up 🧽
The goal of the project was to get rid of irrelevant and outdated content, to make sure none of that takes the attention off of the fresh, important ideas submitted by active users of Dynatrace.
We reviewed all product ideas raised in 2017-2021 with the status "New," moderated labels and titles if needed, and evaluated each to make a decision on whether to archive or not.

For an idea to be a candidate for archiving, at least one description has to be relevant:
- submitted by an inactive user (for example, those that have never logged in to our Community after we switched platform providers in 2021);
- there was a follow-up question from the Product Manager that stays unanswered;
- the idea is not relevant for other users (no kudos or comments from others);
- there's a comment from other Community users indicating the feature is already available in the product;
- the idea is too old to be relevant (the product changed too much since the idea has been raised).

As a result, 26% of product ideas overall were archived.
