non-root mode of OneAgent and Docker monitoring

Hello community!

I know earlier there was limitation:

Monitoring of containers is not supported when OneAgent installed in the unprivileged mode.

In Documentation I can see this: Operation > Gather monitoring data related to Docker containers. on page https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/root-privileges-linux#operation

So, my question is: Can Dynatrace OneAgent monitor Docker containers in non-root mode?

Correct me if i missed something or totally wrong. Thank you!

Yes, the containers can be monitored in non-root mode, however, you will need to use root mode during installation. After that, though, the OneAgent can be run by a non-privileged account.
