Hi, Community!
For PoC in Log Monitoring (Classic) for Google Kubernetes Engine in our org, we want to make a dashboard that based on data ingested in Log Monitoring. But we won't able to find a single reference, even in the demo app that has may useful dashboard example. By any chance has anyone made a similar dashboard before? If you don't mind sharing it so that I can refer to it or at least i know what to include to the dashboard.
Thanks!
Regards,
Bayu

Hello @bayuirsan ,
Cool question. It's nice to see you want to improve at Dashboards!
Does anyone here want to share their exemplar dashboards that fit the topic?
@ChadTurner , @radek_jasinski - maybe you want to share some nice examples? 😉

Hi @IzabelaRokita and @bayu_irsan
I don't have a specific dashboard to share. However, what I would recommend is to use simple tables showing information such as:
- Specific errors in logs
- Specific enteries key to your organization
- All logs
This approach will allow you to move on already to analyzing logs with specific filters which will streamline the entire process. In addition, it's a good idea to build Metric Events for continuous error notifications.
Here you have some interesting information :

Hello @IzabelaRokita and @radek_jasinski,
Thank you for the response and suggestions. At the time i posted the question, I've tried to build metrics based on log data and put it in the dashboard (log count, item lists) but since the users and us had no idea what kind of information and how useful the logs monitored, we can't continue the process😅
But from the approach and link to log analysis docs you gave interest me to dig this feature further. And if you have any updates to this, any information is greatly appreciated. I'll try to update too.
Thank you for the suggestions, I think this feature is important and a good potential in APM so we want to utilize it more 😊
