In gen3, however, the timeframe is displayed in 12-hour format. Is it possible to choose the time format as I wish?

Time format is based on your browser settings (based on browser locales).
Timezone (if needed) can be set in your user preferences and on the environment (in account management).

@Julius_Loman Where can I check on it? I have checked the browser settings but do not see any time format related setting. I have checked in account management and do not see any time format related settings either.

@Hillman is language settings. What language do you have? US English has 12 hours format while UK settings has 24 hours.

@Julius_Loman It is US English.

Why does the time format being tied to language?

In browser you set locale, not just the preferred language.

@Julius_Loman What I mean is, why does the time format tied to the locale instead of allowing users to choose what they want?

@Hillman beacuse that is how browsers work and they use locale. This is not Dynatrace specific.
If you want a 24-hour format, I recommend switching to "English (United Kingdom)" instead of "US English" as US has a 12-hour time format.
