Hi,
I'm currently testing all feature with new UI and Grail
In the new dashboard application (currently version 1.10.2), I do not see any option to share a dashboard with a public link.
The "link for viewing option" can only create a link with a /ui/document/, but users will need to be identified (and have access to AppEngine !) to be able to see the dashboard.
Did I miss something ? or it's not possible to share a public link with a token inside that link ?
Thanks for your answers ,
Christophe

At the moment, I don't see this feature, and it was very useful, for example, for providing views to management who don't want to log into Dynatrace.

Yes, this is also helpful in this case : sharing dashboard to any control room where it's easier to show a simple URL which don't need authentication (we don't want to give access to Management zone)

@Christophe_N hey since we started working on this conceptually. May I ask a few follow up questions:
1. What is your use case? This means what kind of dashboard would you share in the control room?
2. Would you still interact with the dashboard in such a control room? And which controls (i.e., change the timeframe) would you need?
3. Do you need any restrictions still? Which primary way of still restricting access comes to your mind?

@zietho We'd love to have this as a use case. It looks like the old Dashboards Classic app allows you to generate a public link that is publicly accessible so that we can send it to management who doesn't want to deal with logging in. We could even previously schedule an email that sent them the link. This is helpful for increasing observability in our organization.
1. Send the link to the dashboard in a scheduled email so that our management can see availability metrics created in new Dashboards app. This kind of dashboard would include lots of custom DQL tiles.
2. Instead of a control room, it would be helpful in our use-case if management could interact with the dashboard by changing the timeframe and filters.
3. We wouldn't want anyone with this public access to be able to view/edit the DQL or tiles and we wouldn't want more access than stated above. Although, if you could give us the ability to choose access when creating the public link, that would be cool!
