Team,
Is there a way to capture Database Metrics using Dynatrace API, If not, is the Road map in Progress to get Time Series to pull that info in the future and when that would be in place? At Present is there any way to Capture Database Metrics through any other API without using any interface terminal installation?

Hi Joseph, to which metrics do you refer? Database Metrics which are gather by Oracle insights can be fetch through API. Database services metrics (Dynatrace PurePath) aren't available in API.

I found this thread, and have a similar question. I'm trying to capture the "table name" value. I can see it in the purepath, and you can filter on it in "top database statements". But I haven't been able to figure out a way to use it in charting or to extract it with the API. End goal is to observe what tables are being used, and how frequently.

Hi to all.
I think this thread is for me. I need to retrieve the metrics related to load distribution on a database, declined by calling service.
Basically it is about retrieving the details of the Database Service Backtrace view. Unfortunately it is not possible for me to proceed with a query on the service with the parent graft: the database entity is not among the allowed parents.
I hope I am wrong, otherwise I think this kind of implementation would be very useful.
Best regards
Domenico
