problem recentcomments not retrieving

I am trying to extracting  problems with recent comments columns for a period of time. 

with curl , i am getting recent comments . But with excel, recent comments received as null. only few problems comments retrieved 

i tried manually changing recentComments.comments.content as text column but no luck 

any help/known issue/ workaround
