Hi Dynatrace Support,
Can someone explain the difference between the Node details storage page and the Environment storage settings page.
For example, The Node storage details for one of our nodes says the transaction storage in our Dynatrace Managed environment has about 700GB used and 1.4TB available. But the Environment storage settings page says that 2.2TB of transaction storage has been used. Which is over the 2TB quota I set?
I've attached a couple of screenshots...
Thanks,
Scott

Only part of data (timeseries, session data) gets replicated across nodes, code level data does not. That's why you can have actually more data in your cluster than disk space capacity of a single node.
For the truncation - has the limit been set after the size was over the limit?

Hi Julius, thanks for the info, so the Environment storage settings include the combined transaction data. Yes, I think I set the 2TB limit after it was over the limit and trimmed down the number of days retained. I just checked and transaction storage is now 1.9TB,
