Dynatrace Managed Settings Internet Proxy 405 Not Allowed

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone had already solve my issue or has the idea how to create workaround.

Our team is using Dynatrace Managed 1.276.260

And followed this steps to setup the proxy.

  1. Logged in as admin
  2. Go to Settings > Internet Proxy
  3. Select Connect via proxy from the dropdown
  4. Under Proxy settings. 
    Scheme: http
    Proxy address: localhost
    Port: 8081

But when I checked the proxy server logs, it says http code 405 Not Allowed.

Hi,

I understand that you have the proxy configured on the same server as Dynatrace Managed if you are pointing to localhost?

Does your proxy allow traffic to the required Dynatrace Mission Control addresses?

Not sure why your proxy wants to execute "CONNECT" method to the Mission Control endpoint:

furi=https://mcsvc-ap.dynatrace.com/, method=CONNECT}

 

We don't support CONNECT. Only "GET" is implemented at this endpoint.

Found out. It's a proxy issue.
