I've exposed other SAP use cases, Hana and abap.

As simple as possible, validate against the attached links and proceed with the most applicable scenario for your use case. 

1. SoftwareOne PowerConnect for SAP 

2. oneagent-on-sap-cloud-platform-for-application-only-monitoring 
3. for SAP JVM monitoring proceed with Oneagent deployments on the intended servers.

Just take 5 -10 minutes exploring the available options against your solution and select the best fitting.

• Most of SAP app monitoring, falls under custom applications.
• that's why you should consider custom app configuration.
