What is the session timeout of the Dynatrace Managed web ui?
A new customer wants to roll out Davis with Alexa devices and monitors (integrated via the Chrome plugin).
There will be no peripherals attached to the devices, most likely it will be Raspberry pis that just show a remote session. If we log into Dynatrace Managed in the remote session, how long will it take till the session times out? It would be inconvenient if they had to log in again to often.
Any advice would, or information about other Davis setups would be appreciated.

On most of our pages there's auto-refresh that prevents session to time out. Unless browser window is closed, logged in session should remain valid.
We also display our charts on displays.

Any updates regarding this? We'd like to implement timeout for security reasons...
Is there any magic flag we can turn on?

Hi Daniel,
we can configure that for you, just open a support case. Requirement is version 182 which goes public next week. REST API configuration will come next year so you will be avble to adjust that by yourself.

Hi Radoslaw,
Wonderful! Can you elaborate on what will it effect?
will it mean that all users will be signed out after X minutes of inactivity - on all screens?

That's correct. What is more you would be able to control how many concurrent sessions there are available for a single user.
