problems with detecting java processes in Dynatrace

Lener
Observer

There is a server with Windows Server 2019, which has 3 processes in Java that has version 21, and the problem is that Dynatrace is not detecting the 3 processes, it only detects one of the 3 processes, but does not provide information such as startup time. The response only gives us basic information, the agent was reinstalled but it still fails to detect them and the dynatrace process detects it as jave version 19.

Hi,

You can create simple or more complex rules for Process group detection.

9 days ago the server had only one Java process with version 19 and in Dynatrace it did display the process with all the details showing its response times.
The client added 2 more Java processes directed to other ports, according to what they indicated this was to balance the load and not just be centralized in one, from that moment on Dynatrace only detected one process and the metrics it shows are limited.

Hi,

I would try to create a Advanced detection rule to split that single process into three, base on metadata OneAgent is taking about that process.

If you provide details about Java process metadata, maybe someone can help here.
