The attached procedures describe how to integrate Dynatrace and PagerDuty for app owners notifications.
Requirements:
- Connectivity between Dynatrace and PagerDuty.
- On the environment level the implementer at least Have access environment and Change monitoring settings.
- Based on the RBAC policy you may configure manage security problems unless otherwise it's concerned with other team.
Hints
- As per the Out-of-the box integration you can't customize the sent payload to PagerDuty.
- For Custom Payload specification via Dynatrace, create a custom integration and specify the PagerDuty configuration parameters and the tailored custom payload as per monitoring requirements.
- A PagerDuty Integration Key is unique and associated with a PagerDuty Service defined in the PagerDuty service directory, which in case you need to create multiple integration channels with PagerDuty you will create multiple Integration keys.
