Thank @Kenny_Gillette great post, about the Episode 3: Advanced Tagging to create a Dynamic Management Zone I also want to add the link to Best practices for scaling tagging and management-zone rule it is a great post from the documentation when you go serious about tagging and MZ rules. Lot of tips for scaling keeping the performance and good practices.

@Kenny_GilletteThank you for sharing this. I've been watching the episodes one by one. In episode 3, I noticed an issue. The presenter mentioned using type(*), tag(tagename) to capture dynamic MZ, but Dynatrace doesn't accept type(*). Essentially, this entity selector wouldn't work for dynamic MZ.

Are you looking at wish list?

Please advise how to setup automatic tagging . i want to tag all the hostnames starting with aus as with tag a pre-prod.  Please find attached screenshot. i am not able to find place to do this in the rule
