File Check Extension Soft Links

Do you know if the File Check Extension can monitor a soft link in Linux? What are the criteria for the File Check Extension? Does it have to be a local mount Can it be an NFS mounted disk?

There is a new version of the fileChecker coming out very soon which handles both cases. It can check that a mount is up or down as a separate check.
