I have a group of two ActiveGates. They are used to monitor SNMP from multiple devices, so it's good for balancing load for SNMP queries.
The problem is that I receive traps on one of those AGs. There seems to be no way to fix it to run on that specific AG, so whenever it commutes to the other AG, I start loosing traps.
What can be done in these circumstances?

SNMP Traps is a special data source. It always runs on all active gates on the group, so there is no such thing as a failover or only running on one AG.

Yes, I had forgot about that. But I did a reconfiguration and lost all traps. Trying to figure out why...

Maybe the reconfiguration meant that you no longer are listening to the IP sending the traps? Not sure, maybe try restarting the AG otherwise or open a support ticket.

Had to restart extensionsmodule. Something blocked after changing multiple configurations... "Trapping" again!

Hi Antonio.
Did you see anything else besides the loss of traps? Did you find anything in the AG logs?

Rather you can check it in Reverse engineering case the SNMP listener can be blocked to send for other AGs and Ideally can open only for one AG whatever you need configure.
