Setting up Dynatrace extensions in VScode

Hi there,

I'm trying to setup Dynatrace Extension in VScode and using the video from here as reference:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy4Ge8HIzEk

I'm running it on a Macbook M1, VSCode 1.9.1.1, Dynatrace ext is 2.6.4.

I added the URL from my free trial of Dynatrace. Added the API token with the proper rights as per video.

If I click the environment that I just added then no functions appear underneath, nothing.

Is this to be expected?

In the logs I just see it is doing a keepalive of sorts which returns true to the Env URL.

hi mihaime,

Hope you have the extending the extensions symbol is available for every environment is available and visible. And as simple as you have connected with the Tenant URL, Access tokens without any exceptions in the notifications.

Thanks

Should it display something here by default or I need to enable some option somewhere:

This one does not expand to anything.

hi mihaime,

This is how it works, Now you can check in your environment whether any extensions are enabled and active.

Validate under Global "Settings -> Monitoring-> Monitoring technologies -> Custom Extensions"

Hope this helps
