Request:
Please consider implementing an automated email notification system for customers that sends alerts when Dynatrace initiates and completes a cluster or SaaS/platform update.

Other SaaS providers are able to provide the following email notifications:
1) Advance email notification of the maintenance window when our Saas/platform update is to be undertaken including start and end time
2) Email notification sent at the start of the maintenance window when the update has started
3) Email notification sent when the update has finished (this may be before the end of the maintenance window)
4) Email notification send if the maintenance window has been extended
We understand we have no control over the timing of the upgrades but having advance notification allows us to communicate effectively with our stakeholders when the platform will be updated and enables us to follow our internal change process. Having the start and end time email notifications also supports the change process and allows us to manage the downstream Active gates and One agent updates/upgrades. Examples of notifications can be provided.
