We are wanting to exclude specific alerts for processes for example the Command line args ending in "java -version" as we don't need an alert for this, but i can only find to turn off the process group as a whole which we don't want to turn off the java process as we still need alerts

Hi,
Is process you are interested already auto discovered by Dynatrace?
Can you see it in the process list?
Best regards

Sorry for the late reply, yes java was discovered automatically, but when someone runs a "java - version" command it created a problem record which isn't needed.

Hi @Nathanieltat
You can specifically ignore the problem title in the alerting profile. It’s a simple and quick solution.

Does this work for command line args ending in "java -version" as java -version isn't in the title its in the properties and tags the title is "java: Process unavailable" but that sometimes is a genuine issue so i just want to disable the java -version arg ones like the ones attached, is it done in the same way but with the properties filter
