Hi,

Does anyone know how to search exception message in quick way like in AppMon ?

In Dynatrace Diagnostic tools > Exception Analysis, I just can see the exception class not with the message.

As my experience using AppMon, I can seach exception message in the exception dashlet

Thanks,

Hi @Muhammad N.

In order to look at the messages you will need to get into exception details at the class level.

Check documentation for more information

I normally search for Exceptions at the service level, following the box shown below. In Diagnostic Tools, you will get all Exceptions for your Environment. Might be useful for searching for the most occurring ones, but might be difficult, because of the huge number of them...

Thanks @AntonioSousa

But with this way, we cannot find an exception based on the MESSAGE.

I have the same need, and the RFE should be opened for that:

I opened the same since some weeks to have the ability to split the dimension by message in the Multidimension Analysis.

Good day.

I have the same need. Looking for a specific exception message is like finding a needle in a haystack when everything is thrown within the same exception class. Would love if Dynatrace indexed exception messages and made them searchable.
