I've been approaching our mainframe support group regarding the possibility of using Dynatrace to instrument and they have been asking questions about the potential overhead imposed by OneAgent and associated processes--they have a mandate to reduce MIPS consumption so sensitivity is high to anything that would add an additional "MIPS-tax" to transactions. IBM is claiming their zAPM Connect solution has the lowest overhead for this kind of tooling and the support group already uses OMEGAMON so they are biased towards staying with IBM.
I can't find anything in doc/blog/forums on this subject - can you provide me some relevant info?

The Dynatrace overhead is very very low. If you need more assistance on this I would reach out to Dynatrace requesting assistance from sales engineers that can provide you with selling points specifically as it relates to the overhead of the platform on your infrastructure.
