Service Naming for Quarkus

We are currently migrating from a Spring Boot Webapp to a non-native Quarkus based application.

With the Spring Boot App we could set an environment property  SPRING_APPLICATION_NAME and this would be used by Dynatrace as the Service Name.
I can't find a Quarkus equivalent but the Dynatrace documentation implies that if you set an environment variable DT_APPLICATIONID then this will be used as the web application id and hence service name.  This doesn't seem to work and the Quarkus service is named "Netty on 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:*" which is a framework inside Quarkus.

Strangely the DT_APPLICATIONID value does become available as a new Service Tag so I can use it in a Service Naming Rule.

Shouldn't Dynatrace automatically name the Service to the DT_APPLICATIONID value or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance
